Terms of service

These terms apply when you use cocotires.ca or place an order. By using the site or placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to them. Please read them with our Shipping policy, Return policy, Warranty policy and Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

COCOTIRES is the trade name of 1001699067 ONTARIO INC., with its registered office at 2160 Highway 7, Suite 6, Concord, Ontario L4K 1W6, Canada. We are an online-only store. There is no in-store pickup or shopping.

Our products

We sell new tires and wheels. Pictures and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them, but colours, finishes and packaging can differ a little.

You are responsible for choosing the right product. Before you order, check the size, load index, speed rating, bolt pattern, offset and other details against your vehicle manual or the tire placard. Fitment tools on our site are a guide only and may not take changes made to your vehicle into account. Ask us if you are not sure.

Availability

Stock comes from our suppliers and changes quickly. We can limit quantities, stop selling a product or refuse an order.

Prices and taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Taxes are added at checkout for the province you ship to. Shipping within Canada is free. We can change prices at any time, but the price you see when you pay is the price of your order.

We work hard to be correct, but mistakes can happen. If a price or a description is clearly wrong, we can cancel the order and refund you in full.

Discount codes

A discount code can be used once, on the conditions shown with it (for example an expiry date or a minimum order). Codes cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be added to an order after it is paid. We can cancel a code that is misused.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email shows that we received it. We accept your order when it ships. If an item is not available after you order, we will tell you and either offer an alternative or cancel and refund you in full. We can also cancel an order if we suspect fraud or misuse.

Payment

You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe (and PayPal if offered). Payment is taken when you place the order. You must be allowed to use the payment method.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Delivery is covered by our Shipping policy, cancellations, returns and exchanges by our Return policy, and warranty by our Warranty policy. Tires and wheels carry the manufacturer's warranty. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered to your address.

Installation and safe use

We do not install tires. Tires and wheels must be fitted by a qualified technician, used within their load and speed ratings, and kept at the correct pressure. Using damaged, worn or wrong products is dangerous. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Your account

If you create an account, you agree to:

• give correct and current information and keep it up to date;
• keep your password private;
• take responsibility for what happens under your account;
• tell us at once if you think someone else used it.

Use of the site

You agree not to:

• use the site for anything illegal;
• try to break into our systems, or to break, overload or disturb the site;
• give false or misleading information;
• use bots, scraping or other automatic tools, or copy our content or pictures, without our permission.

The content, design and trademarks on the site belong to us or to their owners (brand names belong to the tire and wheel makers). You may not copy or use them without permission.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from a wrong choice of size or fitment, wrong installation or use, or events outside our control, such as carrier delays. Our total responsibility for an order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Law

These terms follow the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are handled by the courts of Ontario, unless consumer protection law gives you the right to go elsewhere.

If a part is not valid

If a part of these terms is found not to be valid, the rest still applies.

Whole agreement

These terms, with our Shipping policy, Return policy, Warranty policy and Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and COCOTIRES about your use of the site and your orders.

Changes

We can change these terms. The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order. The date at the top shows the latest version.
